Ghostwriting

An Innovative, Team-Managed Process to Create the Impact Book You’ve Always Wanted.

Despite its name, at ONE, you work with a team of book professionals to create your book. We’ve found that a team approach ensures quality, efficiency, and accountability.

This collaborative process involves a series of well-coordinated steps, including brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising. You’ll have regular check-ins and opportunities to refine your vision at every stage. Our team consists of skilled writers, editors, and project managers who work together to ensure your book’s success.

Here’s how it works.

Steps Forward

Introduction
Execute the contract for your project. Select your Ghostwriter. Meet your Project Editor (PE). Conduct strategy sessions to flesh out your book's structure and content. Ghostwriter will produce the project's outline and timeline for your approval.

Ghostwriter will write the first chapter of the manuscript and share it with you for review. PE will also review the first chapter and provide feedback. Ghostwriter will revise the first chapter until you are completely satisfied.
Middle
Ghostwriter will continue content conversations with you. Ghostwriter will complete 1/2 of the manuscript to share with you for review and feedback. PE will also review the first half of the manuscript to provide feedback and suggestions.

Ghostwriter will complete the entire manuscript to share with you for review and feedback. PE will also review the manuscript and provide feedback. Ghostwriter will revise the manuscript up to three times until your approval. Once approved, the manuscript will be thoroughly edited and prepared for publishing submission. You review the edited manuscript and any minor changes will be implemented before submission.
Published
From the beginning of the process, the Editor-in-Chief will discuss your publishing goals and assess the best publishing path for your book. The Editor-in-Chief will connect you directly with your publishing partner. ONE will be available for the next year to answer any questions and to be a guide and resource to you during your publishing journey and beyond.

So What's Stopping You?

Factoring in these obstacles and roadblocks (and there are more), you can understand why almost 60% of all the nonfiction titles at your local, or national, bookstore partnered with a ghostwriter or a collaborator to create their book. That number climbs higher to near 80% for certain genres: i.e. celebrity memoir.

The question now becomes, why aren’t you using ONE?
